Basketball is one of the most exciting sports to watch. However, when the game is close near the end, you can get ready for the foul train.

I just watched Toronto vs Golden State. Extremely exciting. However, the last "minute" actually took about twelve minutes and was so boring. Just Golden State fouling the Raptors, and the Raptors hitting their frees. It kills the excitement of the game. I understand that it's a valid tactic for winning, but it simply sucks any excitement out of the game. I wish there was something in basketball which deterred teams from doing this. Basketball could be my favourite sport if it wasn't for the end of close games being shitty.

So who here is good at poker? I'd like to become good at poker (specifically Texas Hold'em)

I've been playing various games on Full Tilt Poker, I've played four 90 player tournaments (11th, 19th, 29th, 37th, on the 11th I would have gone further but I got eliminated when someone caught the one card that would have eliminated me on the river, the other games were just poor playing and me being slightly careless). In limit ring play my chip count constantly fluctuates between 5,000 to 10,000 (you start with 1,000). Is there any particular secret or anything to learning the game better or just constant practice? I think I have a very good mental capacity for learning a game like this, and I'm going to need a nice source of side income and I think that if I can get good at poker, it could become a very good source of side income. :D
